This week the students learned how to graph linear equations and inequalities. They completed many graphs both at home and in the classroom. Next week, the students will be having their test covering graphing. Tuesday we are solving word problems with graphing, Wednesday and Thursday we are reviewing and Friday is their test. To help them study, you can ask them to look at their homework or notes, point to a problem and have them explain it to you.
Challenge Problem Answers:
HW #62 – #40) Points on the graph: (-3,9) (-2,4) (-1,1) (0,0) (1,1) (2,4) (3,9) and the graph looks like a “U”; #42) Points on the graph: (-5,5) (-2,2) (0,0) (2,2) (5,5) and the graph looks like a “V”
